Let’s Pasta is a 3rd generation Italian family owned processor of amazing Ravioli, Tortellini, Gnocchi and all Sauces. Our upbringing taught us to understand where our food comes from. Our Nonno Rocco and his brother would tend to the family land to grow vegetables for resale. Every morning they’d hop on their donkeys and travel southern Italy for daily sales. They were shepherds of their land understood and taught us early about soil erosion and water conservation.
The world’s population is exploding and there is immediate concern for where our food will come from in. We need farms to thrive for generations. Today, Let’s Pasta has sourced a network of Sustainable Agricultural farmers and are GROWING TOGETHER with them. They too are shepherds of their land. All our Durum Semolina come from soil that is zero till, direct seed farming platform to maintain and preserve the soil for future generations of farmers. Fewer chemicals and pesticides are used, and crop rotation is vital for flavor.
We believe that the finest quality products are made from these Sustainable ingredients… Including our packaging. Today our network of products is spread throughout Canada in the food service channels as well as retail sales. All our pasta is made from Durum Semolina that is Food Alliance certified and non GMO Project Verified and Cage Free eggs. Our Gnocchi are like no others. We actually grow potatoes, cook them and mix the Alberta grown potatoes with Cage Free Alberta eggs and Alberta non GMO Project Verified Wheat Flour to make our Gnocchi. Unlike others who use convenience to produce theirs with potato flakes and potato granules. These items are filled with sulfites and not good for you.
