Smoked Whiskey Glazed Pork Roast #shorts

Today we upgrade a bone-in pork roast by incorporating prosciutto and apple – salty and sweet flavors that bring the best out of pork. After seasoning and cutting pockets, we stuff with prosciutto wrapped apples and get it on the grill over applewood.

Like any glaze, there are 3 main components: salty, sweet, and sour. We start by cooking down garlic and ginger, flambé with bourbon, then add apple cider, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, all-spice & cayenne. Paint at 130F and pull at 145F for a rich, juicy, & flavor packed pork roast.
