Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale, born in Pune, made his mark in the Paris Olympics by making it to the final of the Men’s Rifle 50m 3-Positions event at the Paris Olympics. Kusale produced an impressive performance in the qualification round to earn a spot amongst the top eight shooters with 590 points from 60 shots, including 38 inner 10s. Kusale’s journey to the final was marked by a strong start and consistent performance. He began with scores of 99 in the kneeling position, followed by 98 and 99 in the prone position. In the standing position, he managed scores of 98 and 97, which ensured his place in the finals.
