In the Middle East, conflict continues, as Lebanon’s Hezbollah group confirms its leader and founding member Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli airstrike in a southern suburb of Beruit.
The campaign trail is heating up once more this weekend. Former President Donald Trump made a stop in Wisconsin on Saturday, as his running mate, JD Vance spoke to a crowd in Pennsylvania. Both are key swing states in the 2024 presidential election.
Meantime, Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris is in California for two campaign stops. Harris will appear in San Francisco for a fundraising event, before heading to Los Angeles.
